My career journey started as a Boeing 747 pilot for Qantas, where I learned the importance of precision and process. After transitioning careers, I founded a successful tech company and later ventured into construction, flipping over 300 homes and co-founding Earth Elements Design Centers, which today serves the US Northwest region.

Throughout these experiences, I witnessed operating inefficiencies and frustrations in the construction design process firsthand. The constant repetition of tasks, reliance on outdated tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign, and lack of a cohesive, purpose-built solution highlighted a clear gap in the industry. Collaboration was hindered, errors were frequent, and project visibility was limited.

This realization and my passion for process and operating efficiency led to the creation of Design.efficiently—a platform dedicated to transforming how the design industry works. Our mission is to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and eliminate inefficiencies, empowering designers and teams to focus on what truly matters: creating impactful, high-quality results.
